Last words seem to be a practical approach, but think about the numbers you just mentioned:

9500/9110 = 4.3%

1900/1843 = 3.1%

Time to load the boat with stocks! No, risk adjusted returns are what is important, right?

Jeffrey, I agree, and I will add that Intel's aggressive use of some of those billions to buy up it's own stock, is something which gives institutional investors some peace of mind.

Buying 1.8 billion dollars of it's own stock in one quarter tells me Intel does not want to see it's stock drop into the mid 60's.

Something AMD/NSM cannot do.
