Thanks for the heads up.

Sounds as if this is done 'In-House', which makes sense. CheckFree expects the billers to create and house the bills on their website. CheckFree's job is to 'Present' the bill to the consumer on the Bank website. This is a good sign that the billers are ready for Bill Presentment. IMHO.

ae There is a little blurb about a few companies Con Edison, MCI etc that already have bill payment on the internet. It said that a customer can log onto the Billers site view the bill and enter a bank number to pay.

Method #1...delivered by the biller on the billers web site.....

There was no mention of CKFR and I am not even sure that these companies are customers.

MCI & Con Edison are both listed as future billers in Quicken98 Online Billing service.....which uses the CheckFree Backbone. MO...the Bills will be also delivered to the Bank & PFM consolidators...Method #2 & #3 when the systems are ready to go....ie out of Beta.

Do you have any idea who is providing the service or if this competition to be concerned about? Just curious.

I'll bet it's not MSFDC.......
