To All,

To the tune of The McLaughlin Group...

Issue 1:
Everyone should check out the BoxHill (BXH) press release of yesterday. It seems to confirm what I thought regarding a slight slippage in Fibre Channel volume shipments. (This explains why Sun was willing to wait for Brocade's Arbitrated Loop, or possibly to develop their own switch, as Roy has suggested.) In their press release, BoxHill said that demand for Fibre Channel products picked up again in March, so perhaps the downturn was temporary. (I am not a BXH stockholder.) We need to watch the big Fibre Channel storage players to see how quickly the need for switches will ramp.

Issue 2:
Although I don't particularly mind being quoted on other threads, I do take exception if it is not clear that it is a re-post from SI. One of my recent posts was placed on Yahoo by a "jljsat1322". This is not me, and I would appreciate it if this person would straighten that out. (A later post in response confirmed the confusion, since the poster obviously thought I was visiting the Yahoo board. I lurk there, but don't have an ID, and haven't posted yet.)

Issue 3:
There was also some confusion last week (fostered in part by me, unfortunately) regarding the possibility of Steve O'Hara selling a bunch of his shares to drive down the stock price. Suffice it to say that I have researched this issue, and I believe it to be totally FALSE! If anything, Steve O'Hara appears to have a vested interest in seeing the company succeed, and the stock price appreciate.
