Paul, On the education Macs, I agree that the new Mac may help, but other companies have taken advantage of Apple's recent weakness to make inroads in education and schools were bribed with big bribes to switch. It may be difficult and take time to recapture market share. Thanks for the comments about the upgrade. I can live with the speed of this one, (though I am sorry I bought it in view of Apple's behavior with my PB). Just think. I may have bought my last Mac. A whole world will be closing and a new one opening. Linda
