Cat Lady--That is a subdued post you linked to.
Without exaggeration, I have seen the Y2K thread predicting cataclysms based on Nostradamus predictions, Biblical tie ins of some sort and the simple fact that we are approaching the second millennium and that means something big is going to happen. (Nothing did the first millennium but this one is twice as big).

CatLady, yes and I see some of the "shorts" over on the y2k fear thread trying to debunk them. A mistake in my opinion. We should let them go on their way and just prepare to profit from the lunacy. My predictions on the market have not been accurate short term (I thought the top was in February) but my longer term prediction is for a deep drop in 1999 due to y2k fears and then a really big rally to new highs in 2000 when the world does not end as planned.
