Praying to the Lottery God

A businessman is struggling with the economic recession. He's tried his best but things are looking bad. he decides to go to the church and pray for help. So Saturday comes and he prays...'Lord, my business is failing and my suppliers are threatening to cut off my credit and shut me down. There's nothing I can do. Please help me to win the Lottery.'

A week goes by and things get worse. He has to pay off some of his staff and the power company is about to cut off his electricity, The next Saturday he prays...'Dear Lord help me win the Lottery, otherwise I will be bankrupt.'

Another week goes by and nothing happens except that things get much worse. On Saturday he prays... 'Dear Lord, things are desperate, help me.' Just then the clouds part and a deep voice speaks from the sky above the church...'Maurice, meet me half way. Buy a ticket.'
