To all: I am going to be out of town Thursday through Saturday (speaking at a seminar in Ft. Worth - or at least doing so between rounds on the course). I'll get an update done tomorrow night, but the weekly final won't be posted until Saturday night or Sunday...

As far as the suggestion for equal negative points, I agree completely with Rudy. I didn't think it was a good idea to not have equal points negative when we started, but I think Rudy was wise in his decision. Almost everyone who is in the total NSF column has stopped playing. While it is less realistic than real life, it is also more fun. Any real differences caused by big bad wolves, er, weeks (BBW's) are reflected in the monthly percentage totals that I post, which account for all of the effect of BBW's.

Finally, since the quarter idea seems to have been most liked and not objected to by anyone, I propose that we start a new round, Round II, beginning the first week of May, and then the first week of each calender quarter thereafter. (January, April, July, October). I propose May rather than this week or next week simply to keep each round within a full month - for record keeping purposes, I don't particularly want to split a month between two rounds: it could be done, but it's easier on me not to. Round II will be less than a full quarter, but it will get it started. As with all other rule changes, unless there are significant objections between now and this weekend, I'll post a formal rule change this weekend and this month will be the last of round I.
