Sorry Dr. Link..I've never heard of them. I'm curious as to why you think they are sebl's competition though. I would imagine that every little company wants to THINK they are the competition. Could you provide a few more details about this.
Melissa

Gee Link (PhDs don't rate the Doctor honorific from me, but then neither do MDs), did it occur to you that your post was not worthy of comment? Perhaps if you added some op-ed value in the post, and then asked for comment you may actually get a discussion going.

Melissa, please sit down for the next sentence. Link, I actually agree with Melissa's reply to you.

Damn, I just bit my typing fingers.

Hey Dr. Bozo, that juggernaut Moss Micro must be going with the stealth marketing program - the one where nobody has heard of you. I am sure Siebel is shaking in their boots over when Moss bursts onto the scene.

Doc, here is a little tip, 10-k's are documents filed with the SEC in which lawyers make sure that their client companies disclose risks associated with the business. Companies go out of their way to disclose competitors and nowhere does Siebel mention old mighty Moss Micro (see below). God, they even mention FirstWave (not exactly a software titan, huh Shege).

Siebel Systems 10-k:

"Competitors
A large number of personal, departmental and other products exist in the sales automation market. Companies (Products) such as Symantec (ACT!), Borealis Corporation (Arsenal), Saratoga Systems (Avenue), Early Cloud & Co. (CallFlow), Epiphany (Clarity, Momentum, Relevance), Clarify Inc. (ClearSales, ClearSupport), Sales Technologies (Cornerstone), Onyx (Customer Center), IMA (EDGE), Applix (Enterprise), Dendrite International, Inc. (Force One), Marketrieve Company (Marketrieve PLUS), Firstwave Technologies, Inc. (Netgain), Broadvision, Inc. (One-To-One Application System), Oracle Corporation (Oracle Sales and Marketing, Oracle Service and Oracle Call, Front Office Application)), Pivotal Software, Inc. (Relationship), SAP AG (Sales Force Automation Solution) Software Artistry (SA-Expert Sales), SalesKit Software Corporation (SalesKit), SalesLogix (SalesLogix), Kiefer & Veittinger GmbH (K&V) International (SALES Manager) (SAP AG has recently announced its intention to acquire a 50% equity interest in K&V), Scopus Technology, Inc. (SalesTEAM, ServiceTEAM, Voyager), Aurum (SalesTrak) (recently acquired by Baan Company N.V.), MEI (UniverSell) and The Vantive Corporation (Vantive Enterprise) are among the many firms in this market segment. "

Dr. Link, Based on some quick research it appears that in the vernacular of the "Gorilla Game", Moss is definitely a second banana.

Rolling Stones never collect Moss. Who are these guys? Another contender to Siebel/VNTV/Oracle/Saratoga/First Ware Tech? what's your agenda?
