"On the other hand, drugs have quite a large weight, so as Banks. I believe MRK,
PFE are among the top 10 or 15 S&P.

you want to look at the exact weighting of each industry in S&P - go ask Kevin - he
should be able to give you the weighting and the top 50 S&P - the biggies.

market is not weak at all - if you take the sector rotation into account that is why I
told don dont be fooled by S&P looks weaker than DOW today."

okay you made sense

BUT if I am playing the SPX or something that is priced off the SPX...
if it is weak it is weak...so if money is rotating out of heavily weighted sectors/stocks of the S&P.....it is going to make a difference until the money either comes back into those heavily weighted stocks OR until more money comes into the less heavily weighted stocks to make up for it...

going to ask Kevin about this one...since he is the guru on the make-up of the SPX and the workings of it...

Nancy~ Have you examined the sector distribution site at:

securitytrader.com

Some real good info there which ties into your last post. According to them, drugs are not quite ready for that breather yet.
