As I recall, Ascend does not advertise in printed media. It is sold by word of mouth.

If they did, that would be a rare medium well done...
(sorry, I couldn't resist)

At least that is the way it used to be. They may have changed their policies...

You guessed correctly, Monica. Ascend sells to people who have large computer networks, called wide area networks, (WAN) through dealers. A smaller company with say 50 computers might have a few "low end" ASND products, but mostly it is gear that you would never see, and it can be pretty expensive. There are no "retail chains".
