Oh, come on! Will you make the same mistake you made back in december? God prevent us from following your investment advices! Wrong, Jackson, wrong, time will prove you wrong, once more. ___ message from Bill Jackson on Apr 14 1998 10:38PM EST Apple is now a niche player. never again to be the biggest personal computer company in the world. But it can be a profitable company and go forward. The choices to make Apple grow as fast as the Wintels have not yet been made. I expect they will never be made and the share will keep slipping, even as Apple grows(because the market grows faster).

Well look again. Apple is now a niche player. never again to be the biggest personal computer company in the world.

Do you read palms, too? Everyone talks about the computer industry like all the innovation has been sucked out of it. Someday -- maybe not tomorrow or next week -- but someday something or someone is going to come along and knock MSFT on its ass (folks, that's "its," not "it's"). At this point, it may as well be AAPL as anyone else.

Think Different, for once.
