>>BTW#2- looking for good shorts, anybody got any ideas?<<

I'm thinking of shorting DLIA, they are a very trendy young girls clothing and assesories retail and catalog co. The first stock I ever bought was LE, Lands' End,(P/E around 20) during the United Parcel strike in August (in at 29 - out at 41). I looked at a lot of catalogues from different companies and Delia's (DLIA) was insulting to even look at. I'm on their mailing list and when the children saw the last catalogue they commented without being asked about how incredibly ugly everything was. Yes, I know there is no accounting for taste.

Oh, and their P/E is 73 and the ugly girl clothing companies are seeing increasing competition from equally tasteless competitors.

For what I think might be in stock for DLIA, take a look at Coldwater Creek, (CWTR) for the last month. They were sawed in half, P/E went from 40 to 20 and they beat consensus. And their clothes even look ok.

The only thing is DLIA is down 5 pts. from their recent high. Been debating if they will run back up or not.

This would be my first short if I do it. Do you have any pointers on shorting in general?
