Michael--and Nancy--well said!! And as an addendum, I'd say that it takes a while to know the trading style that one is comfortable with. But the sooner one finds out the better.

You are so right--at times it has amazed me how frantic it gets. I think that the danger lies in being drawn to the "action" entailed in rapid trading -- and in so doing one loses sight of the profitability or lack thereof of ones trading--though sooner or later, ones brokerage statement tells the story:)

That has been my experience also -- but I do know people who are very successful day trading the futures. But I know many more people who have failed miserably at it.

I guess to each his/her own.

Sorry that I did not respond to your earlier post -- have not forgotten it, I assure you.
