Sorry for the confusion, I thought you were speaking of the latest proposed rules to go into effect later this year or next. Of course your limit orders will always be presented as you specify them. In fact, I used to brag about being able to beat the spread at Waterhouse in past years, and no one believed me. It's good to know I wasn't alone. Never could figure out how they would execute my orders actually outside the spread, which is supposed to be impossible.

As for Waterhouse being faster than Datek, geez, Ill have to do some trades in my Waterhouse accounts. Between the confirm screens, the " pending approval" screens, and the slowest web site I have ever seen, it was maddening trying to get any trades done effectively. Six months must have made a world of difference. You must have the super duper fantastico connection, because I know others who still complain about how slow they are. I'll have to check them out again.

Glad to know you guys are having good luck with them. May we all do the same.
