>>I think I may be gaining a new found respect for their system..>>>

Tom, Underdog syndrome?-G- On a more serious note, I think
you may be rebelling against "income redistribution" system that
we have developed in USA. When a country has more lawyers in Washington, DC than all
capitals of the world combined (and UN is in New York) we got a problem. It is even bigger
problem when very same lawyers pounce on Mr. Starr spending 40 mln
(clearly a waist) but cynically uphold existence of the very same
system that cost a society billions... Ah, a liberty defenders..as if reasonable people, arbitrators or otherwise
can not render justice, without as enigma would suggest "Wild West" style..I wonder how they
manage to buy a house in England or Canada with "acute" shortage
on lawyers...it is terrible to qestion poor Monica's mom, but we have a right to sue everybody including one,s
mother, brother or anyone we are pleased to sue..but we do have a right for a jury
..the only problem that only "idiots" are qualified otherwise
they are gone from the jury pool when "Lawyers Fees" are involved..
As far as Japan is concerned, I wonder how they manage to take
care of their elderly in their small houses and apartments, aren't
they entitled for a nursing home care..but that is not compassionate
besides American Family (most) two have to work to maintain "compassion"..and that is why
USA would not sell gold...need it for a rainy day or two..
But now is a golden era..can we prolong it..can we save it for
our children? 15 years, less?
Granted cost of living is considerably less
than in developed societies with even greater Gvnt involvement
in people's affaires. On the other hand who but us works closeto 24 hr
a day..
