<You think this might be indication of another
3-5 pt run coming up?>

Joe, most likely. If Intel is up, COMS will be up, if Intel is down, COMS will be down. Looks like Intel will be up tomorrow.

About a week ago, when coms was at about $35, the options traded were very balanced between puts and calls. Now when coms is at $32, the weight is really quite heavy on the calls side - people buying April 32 1/2 for 50 cents today only have four days to play for their money. If they guessed right they can make a three bagger - and it looks like they are going to win.

Joe, while it's true there is a lot of OI in the 35 and 40's, at 1/16 cost and low volume, I think it an unlikely indication that a run is imminent based on that. Most all of the volume seems at the money. Heck, if I had some of those still open and only at 1/16, I'd just keep holding at those prices. Commissions eat up whatever is there. And besides, who knows there could always be a miracle buyout, and they could become worth something.

Now none of this is to say that I wouldn't like to see a run-up.
