Lamar: If you're friend was misled by an unethical IHI rep then I do sincerely have empathy for his situation. I have found based on my experience that the IHI rep base is basically honest and ethical people. However, I am not naive enough to think there are not any bad apples in the lot. Not to be to critical but you're friend made a poor decision if he funded the start up cost for someone else because typically if people have nothing to lose they won't put any effort into the business. I considered putting my father in my downline at my cost and my sponsor discouraged me from doing that for just that reason. This business isn't easy and it requires a commitment to be successful I always tell people to seriously check out this company before they get involved and come in at a level their comfortable with. It sounds like your friend tried to make serious money quickly based on some bad advice. However, he and his wife should not have been able join individually based on my understanding of the policies. He could have purchase one business center under the old plan and been very successful if he would have patient enough to involve the right people.

If he was influenced by a bad rep then I would like to have a crack at that rep because it is people like that that create the problems and negative perceptions that hinder the honest ethical reps like myself and many others who have contributed to this thread.

Based on the information you have received on this company I certainly understand why you have the opinion that you do. I can respect that. Allow me to offer my opinion based on my experience with this company. The IHI reps are basically honest, hardworking people and the management and leaders have always stressed presenting this business and training our downline in an ethical manner. I leave the interested public with this: 1. Anyone considering becoming a sales rep should conduct some serious due dilligence on the company., 2. Limit your initial cost to get started to a level you're comfortable with and stick to it. ( Do not pay for someone else to get started ). 3. Beware of any rep who says this is quick easy money. Some people do very well in a short period but for the most part it takes some time combined with effort and a desire to succeed.

Lamar, I apologize for any negative tone with my previous post. However, In order for IHI and the Industry as a whole to achieve a higher level of professionalism we have to defend our company from all the negative aspects that are typically publicized and make people aware of the all the beneficial and positive contributions this company and industry provides. I am a part time IHI rep and I have a successful career in mainstream business. I'm not a MLM junkie. However, I have seen this company change many people's lives for the better and that should be pointed out.

Best Wishes to you.
