H. James Morris, >Paul, I realize, that your question was not directed at me, but I've been asking myself the same question, since the end of feb. Everything I was taught, in school, is out the window.<

The Semi's are a different breed. The market looks 6-9 months ahead for the Semi stocks. But, they can dump them at any time as they revolve to other sectors and back again. We just have to do our homework and as members on this site share our knowledge and research to keep up and hopefully ahead. Gottfried, Big Bucks, Teri, Kumar, Jacob, Brian, Tito, Lester E., Ricardo are some of the individuals who do their homework and contribute to this site. Others, when you feel comfortable jump on board--you knowledge is important for this site to continue to help all of us.

I am a long term investor but will sell when the AMAT stock price hits my target. I expect AMAT according to my standard deviation spreadsheet to hit $105 or above within the next 18 months. But who knows? I could just be hyperventilating.<g>

Just my opinion.
