I like the conference very much. I liked the idea of SGI delivering 100 to 1000 times the ONYX level of performance to NT users. For those people who have forgotten what a computer is for -- wake up. This is a new-generation product that will make the old PC's look like the junk we all know them to be. I anticipate the visual PC will hit the market with a very big splash. SGI's stock price will ride the crest of the wave. I have a more detailed post of my views the YAHOO thread at:

Ah Mathon-

How nice that you are back. Hearing your voice is as refreshing as a cool breeze coming across the bayou on a hot summer evening. Glad that everything is going well with you, Ringo and the rest of the Camel Corps. We have been having some action while you have been gone. You have a lot of reading to do to catch up. At the moment Rick has just announced his plans for the company. As usual some are satisfied and some are not. I think Jim D. in his post has summed it up pretty well. However, to be honest, while I am optimistic I am not quite as optimistic as he. The rest of this week and next week should be rough sledding as we await the earnings news on the 21st. After that a dull three months. But hey, who knows, this is the stock market, anything can happen. Talk to you later.
