Wisam,

Usenet is a collection of special interest groups or newsgroups, much like subscribing to a newsletter or magazine dedicated to a specific subject. Whatever ISP you are using probably subscribes to no less than 30,000 such groups. Any subject you can imagine, you can be assured there is a Usenet newsgroup comprised of contributors and readers who share interest in that subject.

Your ISP's tech support people can get you set up and started with Usenet, or you can go to dejanews.com for more explanation. From Usenet, you will learn of various listservs. Yahoo's section on computers and the Internet also is a source of Usenet and listserv sources and information.
