Wow! And I thought the PC industry was at a dead-end, no new technology, no need to upgrade, no need to worry about new applications. In fact since it's such a commodity now, we can just go to the store and get one off the shelf for $500.<g>

That simple 'off the shelf' PC will allow me to do single line diagrams or process flow control drawings and I would certainly be able to use it to run Trade Station* and plug in a 2nd monitor for detailed graphs won't it? It could also be used to write some simple code for various criteria selection algorithms and allow for setting of alarms. Surely this inexpensive commodity PC will also allow for networking as well as rapid file transfers to external sources?
