From recent 10-Q filing: << ...At February 9, 1998 there were outstanding 3,815,609 shares of common stock,$.01 par value per share, of K-tel International, Inc... >> Of those ~3.82MM shares, only 900,000 trade actively (the float). Small supply + Huge demand = Mucho dinero for longs. ;)

According to HIS FILING his sale left him holding 2600 shares. That 200,000 must come from options which should now be worth huge amounts of money. People were also calling for the moon on LEAP three days ago. In the last 2 days it has dropped from 7 to 2.5 after their announcement that they will use the internet to advertise. This is all hype....KTEL's internet site doesn't even work yet! By the way, if they do go to the net as a medium to sell....will the disco people all have computers. Do you think it will really help?
