Jesse, based on Fagan's description of what happens to diamonds during the eruption period I believe Auston is saying that the corners on the macro diamonds are rounded due to resorption whereas the smaller micro diamonds still have sharp edges. I now see where you are coming from because it makes no since that the heat, chemicals and pressure would not cause the same change in the smaller diamonds......Unless they came from different sources.
