I agree! ...very political.

Where does DeBeers assume they will get the water to develop anything at Marsfontien?

How difficult will it be to transport ore to one of their existing processing plants, or do they intend to use SUF's plant nearby?

Is DeBeers really in business to bring new diamonds to market, or to keep them off the market?

Frankly, were I an owner of diamond mining claims, I would not want DeBeers as a potential development partner. They are, in fact, in business to restrict the supply of diamonds on the market. They are not really interested in helping to increase supply. On the other hand, were I involved in a claims dispute and wanted big muscles to help force a settlement, I would welcome DeBeers as my partner.

The only thing which has changed from the most recent news is that SUF many not be as close to finalizing this matter as we would have hoped.
