John,

I have had a few odd lot fills but the worst, maybe 20 shares or so are usually part of a larger fill -- that is Island -- I think some traders on this thread have had trades broken when requested, but I never tried it. If you set your limit order with a little room for the stock to move, then you may end up with a few shares at a better price than what most of the order may have filled at.

A change order option would be nice!!

I also wrote a utility that converts all those odd lot fills into a Quicken Importable File, QIF, so I don't have to key those extra trades into Quicken

I've been giving it away -- If you want a copy email me at zipwork@aol.com

No, I don't work for Datek

Steve

Notice the silence from Datek? People here have raised issues which have very politely been ignored. Contacting Datek directly also proves fruitless as many have attested.

I'm sure they have big plans, but any company that ignores its customers does so at its own peril.

This thread is here for the public to find out how Datek performs. Yeah, it works, often it doesn't. Yes, its cheap but you get what you pay for and sometimes you get burned.

Will Datek do better in the future? I sure hope so.

Wake up Datek, show some interest in your customers.
