Thanks for the reply. I know that functionally, there are many financial resources available, so it would seem like a 'no-brainer' to use debt rather than equity to expand facilities, especially where interest deductions can be made. Also, I belive that I have read previously, that depending on the industry involved, companies typically operate in the 0.30 to 0.70 debt range. So it almost seems intuitive to use debt for physical expansion because of interest deductions and depreciation.
But these are mundane and ordinary daily business decisions that I am sure are viewed as negatives by the various shorts who visit this thread. As you observed, there is apparently no way anything Dell does that will generate any positive notice for those who have already decided the course of this company.
