Laker, it is hard to see how the FED could raise rates soon, when the 1st QTR CPI is up .2% as well as the core CPI being up just .2%. For the QUARTER!! This is the lowest since 1966! Also, consumer spending seems to be off just a tad in March. Of course, anything is possible, and people are suggesting other scenarios, but this looks to me to be very compelling against an interest rate raise.
