Today the XAU closed that opening gap of 4/3/98. The high of 4/2/98 was 83.41. Today's low was 83.26 and have now moved higher on the XAU. Am now expecting the XAU to move forward for at least the next 5 weeks. Ok xau, gap is closed; let's start moving.:)))

Phil -

I wonder how much of those savings are on deposit with insolvent or potentially insolvent public and private institutions. I think it's quite a lot of them, and frankly, I think that under similar circumstances over here we'd have long ago had a panic and a run on the banks, and justifiably so.

One outfit, QVC has plans for t'high savings rate Jas. populace nest egg.

An announcement was made just this week of a joint TV venture contract signing by QVC which will be on the Jas. TV tubes starting Fall of 98. May be a success or may be a flop. Stay Tuned. 14K jewelry will be on Tues and Thurs 8PM GMT!
