It depends on the stock, especially outstanding shares and volume. I have certainly seen II, and more often their sister publication SSR, move stocks. They aren't going to move a Lucent, but they've moved CMG in the past (in lower volume days) as well as THQI, BTIM, and 25 or so stocks each year when they publish their Magic 25 list in November.
