>>Dublin devt center

Informix also has a development center in Dublin (concentrating on translations), as well as a production center (in other words, inside the EEC trade walls). They are well integrated into the development cycle, so that many foreign versions follow very closely on the English releases.

no, it was for another company. Many high tech companies have centers in Dublin because of its relative low cost - pan european coverage and skilled english speaking work force. Many people still think of Ireland as Europe's poor man torn by civil war - very untrue! Apart from certain isolated areas there is little going on in the way of conflict - also the education system is very advanced there.

i dont know where the river Shannon is..but if it was flowing with Guinness i am sure I would find it.
