Off Topic:

I noticed your comment on internet shorts yesterday and have conducted some preliminary research in the area. Any insight to shorting the skinny dogs of the pack -- namely CNet and Infoseek.

Currently the total market cap of CNet, Yahoo, Infoseek, Excite, Lycos and go2net is over $10bb on an annualized revenue of $300 mm. This seems a bit out of whack. I have a hard time seeing a total market cap of that magnitude 3 years out. It seems that the segment will consolidate around Yahoo. No sense in shorting it. Right cementheads? Excite has a good relationship with AOL. Lycos seems to have a good handle on commerce vendors. I won't go on but both CNet and Infoseek seem like they will wither in market share and will likely have a lower market cap 3 years out. Any thoughts? Sorry to clog the thread.
