Don't take anyones advice without doing your own DD, but I would hold at least over the split (effective april 16:th).

Earnings are due on the 24:th. Ericsson reports earlier, and both companies are supposed to be reporting yet another blowout Q.

The real question you should ask yourself is this:

1. Finland has the highest number of cell phone users in the world,
at over 30%. Almost a third of the entire population; men, women
and children. Sweden is number 2 I belive, at 25% or so.

2. ERICY and NOKA must be doing something right, and they are. Take
a peek at the newest NOKA phones at www.nokia.com (I could kill
for a pre-release 8810).

3. Given the established leadership and track record in handsets as
well as base stations and infrastructure, is it likely that NOKIA
will be a leading supplier in bringing the rest of the world up to
the same level of cellular phone per capita numbers as Scandinavia?

Long term NOKA and ERICY are no-brainers.

pon, this stock has behaved much like LU during runup before split> LU then ran another 9 points (18 pre-split) afterwards before profit taking took hold. If you're thinking of selling you might want to sell covered calls for April out of the money, or May at the money. Just a thought.
