Way to go DELL!

Wow Jim that is whopping 15.5% more for DELL. I am sure we will make a hell of a lot more than $00.01/share or 16 million dollars(CPQ's Q1 earnings)for Q1,no doubt in my mind.

Jim, I don't doubt your veracity for a moment, but could this price differential be correct???

How can Compaq possibly compete?

CTC

At the moment, with still more than 5 weeks inventory in the channel, CPQ does not want to price aggressively on new high end boxes, their offering is a placeholder and can be discounted in special circumstances, but what they really want to sell is the remaining 200 MMX pentiums... look to see their real prices in 4-6 weeks when they get into the 3 week inventory window.
