Mr Fred Daley reports
Further diamond drilling of the San Nicolas deposit in Zacatecas, Mexico is
to resume immediately and will consist of step out holes to determine the
outer limits of the orebody as well as in-fill drilling on 50 metre spacing
for engineering purposes. Diamond drilling is also to start immediately on
recently defined geophysical targets to the south and east of the San
Nicolas deposit.
Diamond drilling to date has determined that massive sulphide
mineralization containing copper, zinc, silver and gold is continuous over
an area greater than 800 metres in a northwest/southeast direction and 400
metres in a northeast direction. A lower zone consisting primarily of
copper mineralization intersected in diamond drill holes SAL 24, 29, 34,
36, 37, 40 and 44 (previously reported) remains open to the south and
southwest.
Assay results for holes SAL 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, 54, 55, 57 and 58 are
listed on the attached table. Holes SAL-52 and 56, which do not contain
significant mineralized intervals, appear to define the northeastern and
northwestern limits, respectively, of the upper massive sulphide deposit.
