Mary 50%+ is indeed very good margins (come to think of it 30+ is good as well) but here is few observations 1)1q - 54 2)2nd - 50+<54 3)it was said that for the year <b<probably around 50. Let say intel goes like that 54 52 50 48 => 51 but a steady decline over a year. And how about the great statement about sales picking up in 2nd half. Wow, we still remember of christmas shopping, don't we. Let's compare 4q97 to 4q98 instead..... I doubt that IBM or Compaq would be loading themselfs with intel inventory this year before christmas.
