Peter,>>>I just don't understand all these. Even INTEL itself said this is a "bad" (disappointing)quarter and next quarter is not going to be better. However, the street believes otherwise and therefore bids up the stock price. On the other hand, some people are still not convinced and that's why INTC is not over 80 right now.<<<

On the one hand, Intel under Andy Grove - who grew up in the 50's and 60's, believing that hyping or blowing your own horn was bad form (or character). He doesn't understand today's culture when you mean $6B you have to say $8B.

The Street, of course, is full of wise guys. They know that when Andy Grove says he expects revenues of $5B he really means at least $5B but $6B or more is not out of the question.

On the other hand, the reason why Intel is not over $80 and has PE less than 20 is because of the magnificent Tom Kurlak. Tom Kurlak is this generations Joe Granville. He made a couple of good semiconductor sector calls - he is acting as if he were omnipotent and calling for INTC to go down to the $60 level. It is no longer analysis. It is now sorcery.

He is acting more and more like a Heavens Gate guru than a stock analyst.
