Calvin,

As of last year's numbers, NSCP's SEEK link
was responsible for delivering about 25% (I think) of
SEEK's overall site traffic. This reliance was on
a downward curve, though.

Now, NSCP is re-thinking its business and
identity. Presumably, NSCP will want to become a
"portal" site to compete with MSFT's Start to be
launched later this year. SEEK's contract is (I think)
up or almost up with NSCP. NSCP will, no doubt, want more money
to sit at their table. They need the cash. Thus, the negotiations. Whether,
indeed, active negotiations are in progress is anybody's
guess. As is the time frame.

The point of my post was that, again speculation
on my part, SEEK's new eyeballs-grabbing deal with WBS
takes some of the pressure off the NSCP negotiations.

Hope this helps...

Best Regards,

c m
