If you're talking about post 1659 last night, it said the reduction from "about 23 percent from 28 percent" was "expected" today; this was the news we were all hearing. I mean the OFFICIAL confirmation. As far as I can tell, the reference to 4:30 is in post 1658, discussing the March 4 rate reduction--also on a Wednesday -which was followed the next day by a TBR price rise. Was there an official announcement of the reduction today at 4:30 EST? That's what I can't find. In any event, this would still have an impact tomorrow--not today. It was an impact of an official confirmation TODAY that some were anticipating.

Na Bolsa do Rio, o I-Senn (Indice do Sistema Eletr“nico de Negocia‡ao Nacional) fechou em alta de 0,56% e o IBV, de 0,22%. O I-Senn registrou 42.041 pontos e o IBV, 43.564 pontos. O volume financeiro foi de R$ 90,866 milhoes.
