R.D....to me TA and FA go together......a chart is a reflection of the perception of fundamentals.........for quite sometime the perception has been that FA has never been better....the only real scare thrown at that perception was the threat of higher interest rates last spring.....as long as the perception of good FA continues will will have the "buy the dipster", but one day there will be a dip and an event or series of events that will change the optimistic perception and that dip will turn into a lot more. the original concept of this thread was to find some indicators that could tell us in ADVANCE when that change in perception is happening and if we could get on board we could watch that" change in perception in its refection" on the charts as we smuggly watched our shorts eat up those blinded by "its different this time".....i have been trying to make $$$ on the long side while waiting for the big kahuna and have sold many times thinking it was too high,,only to leave money on the table but there have been plenty of dips to buy and i see another coming and am once again trying to catch the some of the correction on the short side, while staying mostly cash so as to buy the dip...........watch me be one of the ones caught in the "DIP OF NO RETURN"
