AMZN and YHOO are building brand and customer/transaction databases that are worth a lot. Probably explaining their hefty (!) valuation.

MiB, nothing explains it and "hefty" is a bit of an understatement doncha think?

Whether EGRP is the right pick depends on how much downside risk you want to take (it has much less IMO). EGRP has revenues and profits while AMZN and YHOO have minimal revenues and one has profits, but not significant ones.

Good fortune with EGRP (after I sell the other half of my puts tomorrow).
