Forgive my ignorance...is the cos name pronounced like the "sap" from a tree or is it "S-A-P?"

Fred, it's hard to predict future moves of SAP. From a fundamental point of view the stock is probably fully valued right now but what does this mean in today's market? You also have to consider that SAP is one of the few tech stocks in Germany and SAP is a market leader in ERP just as MSFT is in operating systems. This position deserves IMO a premium to its growth rate. And the current momentum will continue once the company gets into the spotlight of the US investors once it is listed at the NYSE.
If you look for a long term investment you can buy today and then enjoy the ride. The best approach would be to buy half of your position now and then average up later (or average down if something unexpected happens).
