My opinion is that it is the runup before earnings and it should be interesting to see if Apple's earnings announce has positive effect on IBM tomorrow. I thought options expiration on Friday would peg price at 105 this week but now am not sure that 110 will hold.
Suspect everyone now expecting earnings upside surprise from IBM next week and things could really pop before Thursday next week IMHO. Intel money has to go someplace right now. Could Jules even be buying IBM now?

Regards,

Don

Possible top at 112 ?

The pre-announcement earning run-up may lead it to 112 - the old top before a collapse. After all, professional money managers buy on the rumor and sell on the news. The post-run up, now is too widely anticipated for it to materialize.
