I agree -- if Apple really does show positive earnings AND earnings growth for four quarters running, they'll be in full turnaround mode and the stock will get a lot of attention.

Even now, I am pretty psyched that they showed good earnings two quarters in a row. I worked for NeXT when Jobs announced their first profitable quarter -- or should I say "only" profitable quarter. It was a single small profit in a sea of losses. A lot of people speculated that he cooked the books to make things look good for that one quarter. I admit thinking the same thing when Apple announced profits last quarter. Now, with a second round of strong earnings and a lot of good numbers behind it, I'm much more optimistic.
