You are pathetic. WorldCom doesn't need wireless local loop! It already has wired local loop courtesy of Metropolitan Fiber Systems ("MFS"), Brooks Fiber, MCI Metro, and UUNet. What WorldCom doesn't have is mobile wireless. WorldCom neither wants nor needs WinStar. Look for someone else to bail you out of your WinStar investment.

Good points. One of the things I liked about Vogel's report was the graph showing projected buildings on-net. The line representing WLL buildings intersects and then blows way past the fiber-connected buildings over time. The ease and cost of installation is so superior that WLL can bring buildings online that would not be economically feasible to connect with fiber.
