Okay, I'll admit I have went a little nuts, but I got together with a friend at work that lives and breathes pro-wrestling. He even maintains a website at wrestlingempire.simplenet.com (a little plug).

Anyway, this is relevent for two reasons:

1) There already is a ECW. It stands for Eastern Championship Wrestling and was formed in 1992. They had their first pay per view last year and actually innovated many of the current themes (such as wrestling stables) in the WWF and WCW. Also, many of the current stars in the WCW at one time worked in the ECW. So, depending on your view either the name won't work, or maybe a golden opportunity for THQ to buy a new license for much lower dollars.

2) The WWF program RAW beat Monday Nitro for the first time in 84 weeks in the ratings war. I think Farrell may be a fortune teller.
Just hope Ted Turner keeps the purse strings open for another 15 months.
