If Apple gets the message out that it is easier to operate than Windows, I definitely feel Apple will cut into Windows machines significantly.

I doubt it. The price/performance advantage needs to be fairly large for people to switch from one standard to another...

I don't care what arrangement Jobs made with Gates, if Apple improves, conflict with Microsoft is inevitable. In addition, if the DOJ starts chopping, Microsoft may be ripe for shorting. Let us see!!

While it is a slim hope, I still hope that Microsoft will recognize Rhapsody as a superior OS, give up its OS business, and concentrate on its applications business. This may sound dumb, but stranger things have happened.
