I went, I saw, I bought....again spent Monday afternoon with Ed Kroeker and visited Hamilton and the depack at Brampton. asked a lot of Qs, still have a lot but... all things considered I can see no real justification for not having some long position. even if the courts were to find that Trooper is somehow entitled to plant upgrades that were not even conceived of when the licensing agreement was signed, there is simply too much potential to worry about where the bottom was, or why there is stock supply and little share price movement last week. where do you think the share price will be when there are numerous plants? My partner and I told Ed that TTRIF has a great opportunity to scale plants for the family and small corporate farmer whose hog or cattle operations produce a huge waste problem: the Mn. State Legislature is wrestling with the issue with its PCBA (Pollution Control Board Agency) and I understand the Chicago daily (Tribune?) had a big spread on the Iowa manure issue today. I hope someone asks about the hog farm demo in Manitoba that was announced almost exactly a year ago. why couldn't someone market the concept to dairy cooperatives who could have a tanker to pick up liquid wastes on a route just as the coop already picks up milk... I was surprised how "sweet" the smell was in the Hamilton plant. my understanding is that new plants will have an improved system to load the pellets. i guess seeing is believing...and I am waiting for news as news has always driven the share price whether it's good like the anticipation of the Ontario Waste announcement last May, or bad like the ILSR fiasco. i'm musing about a Staten Island deal and what a report in the WSJ on the thermophilic process will mean. don't want to be on the sideline trying to chase the stock. i assume that the numbers for Hamilton will allow for a more rational evaluation once the new 400T/dy addition is complete. BTW, will someone ask when Hamilton will receive the permit to increase throughput above the current 200T/dy average. also, what is the projected savings per/qtr or per 200Tdays having the evaporator in operation? if 100T of waste yields 10-15T of pelletized yield how many tons of H2O are evaporated by the new equipment? what is the actual cost of natural gas or oil to add heat to the fermentation tanks, odor eaters, and dryers? can plant operation costs be better defined? ah...this is too long already, but one last editorial mention...the quality of posting has recently turned for the better and I, for one, am grateful. great good fortune to all.
