I worked in oil shale for 11 years, went thru Tbone pickens, etc. I remember at one point I told my associates: You know, if we don't do something with our lives soon, the only thing we will be able to do is sell shoes at the mall. Three years later, Married With Children showed up with Al Bundy.

Go figure.
