Kip518,

In a word, Hype.

This article is just rehashing a lot of old "news". Possible rise in interest rates, Asia import fears, U.S. economy far too robust, employment rate concerns, and even El Ni¤o. Lots of words like "spoil the equity party", "pop the equity bubble", "fear", and "worry".

>>....the Fed thought a flood of lower-priced imports from Asia would shave at least one-half point of consumer prices this year. Now, it looks like that won't happen. << Unsubstantiated here.

>>Once exports stabilise in a couple of months, however, the strength in the domestic economy could reassert itself, making the third quarter look more like the booming first quarter than the second. << Opinion.

IMHO, nothing useful for your armory of market info. Somebody had to get an article out.

Cheers,
Bond
