<< 5. A secure LAN/SAN with secure data is easily set up with FC. FC wins in the storage area hands down. I am waiting to win the Powerball tonight - so I can install my own SAN in the basement. It will hold the full text of all my books and journals so my wife will be able to convince me to throw all of the hard copies away. The MKII will sit over by the furnace...>> LOL - Great! Now I know what to do with all those pictures the wife keeps snapping of her family. Do you think there is any chance the storage system may fail :)

FC will be at a disadvantage at the LAN/WAN interface unless there is an available high performance ATM/SONET to FC device.>> George, I've been thinking about that lately in regards to Litton's contract for "Smart Ships," Aegis destroyers and cruisers outfitted with fiber ATM networks. Awaiting (and salivating over) NTT/Ancor developments this quarter. I'm clueless regarding integrating wireless also. Douglas
